New test software supports the latest browser generations of Firefox and Internet Explorer – before they have even been launched
From today on (17 June 2008), Firefox 3 will be officially available on the World Wide Web. But even before its launch, the latest browser generation has been well known to itCampus. Since the beginning of June, the new software product called “web2test” supports the latest Firefox version and not only that: the same applies to the Internet Explorer 8 that will presumably be launched in August.
“Whoever uses the test software made by itCampus may rest assured that he can work browser and platform independently”, explains web2test Head of Development Holger Flemig emphasizing the cutting-edge quality of the software and systems house from Leipzig in that area. The final version of web2test is available online since the beginning of June. At www.web2test.de, licenses for the itCampus test software can be downloaded. If someone wishes to see the performance of the new product in advance, he can make use of the demo version or the evaluation licenses.
web2test was developed jointly between itCampus and German software developer Quality First Software (QFS). The “web2test” software affords comprehensive and fully automated system tests even of complex websites, portals and web-based applications. Additional unique selling point: All tests are browser-independent and independent of layout changes. In addition, web2test offers a real user simulation mode and is 100 % AJAX-capable.
